romantic getaway

georgian windows sea front

the beautiful king room had floor to ceiling georgian windows, complete with beautiful shutters. we very much liked the location directly on the sea front (i could almost feel the sea breeze!).

The hotel lacked an elevator. Carrying luggage to the upper floors proved a bit challenging. i think they could improve this for families or people with any mobility issue.

a bit Disappointed overall

The location was excellent, very close to everything I wanted to visit.

The room seemed like it needed some maintenance. The walls had marks, and the bathroom door looked OLD. The futon bed had holes, and one of the bathroom towels had some marks. IT was not pleasant. the WiFi was hit and miss. The TV signal kept dropping out.

tired room poor signal

the room i was in felt a bit tired , to be honest. some noticeable marks were present on the walls , and the bathroom door really looked like it had seen better days , it's true. the tv signal would occasionally drop out, yet irritating , issue. and , frankly , having to ask repeatedly for basic things like extra towels? not exactly a high point.

The host provided recommendations for local restaurants. i appreciated the coastal theme in my super clean room. dorset tea bags were provided. the breakfast included homemade berry compote, fresh fruit, and a choice from a hot breakfast menu. I chose eggs benedict.

the tv signal occasionally dropped, but it was not a major issue

the breakfast room was very clean with a sea view. the breakfast quality seemed high because products were locally sourced. i had the best standard of breakfast here. portions were decent, and food tasted great.

The room featured a rainfall shower. the room was also immaculate. Cleanliness was at another level. homemade cupcakes awaited my arrival. there was a sign encouraging relaxation and a feeling of being at home. It added a personal and cute touch.

ideal location excellent cleanliness early information dining options

The location was ideal. It gave immediate access to the beach. The cleanliness throughout the entire building was excellent. I also appreciated the early information provided to me, regarding local attractions and dining options. I found this helpful for planning my days.

The staircase lacked a lift. It was slightly inconvenient with my luggage.
